The spectacular rural County of Somerset encompasses some of the most stunning expanses of land, hills, rivers and trees that you might find anywhere in Britain. The River Avon provides a boundary between Somerset and Gloucestershire and is another of the magnificent natural features this beautiful County has to offer.  The second City here is “Wells” and there are also thirty thriving towns in which to live, work and raise a family.  The largest and most populated areas of the County are; Taunton, Bridgewater, Weston-Super-Mare, Yeovil and Bath.

Alongside the spectacular array of Hills and valleys there are the many roaring Rivers that run though this bountiful County.  The Parrett, The Axe, The Cary and The River Isle to name just four, each one providing their local Towns folk with endless hours of boating fun, walking Riverside pathways and of course bringing in thousands of tourists to help their economy flourish.  With traditional Farming and agriculture providing work for many of its residents the County of Somerset has a lower than average unemployment rate.  Tourism, Retail, Manufacturing and Health and Social Care also provide plenty of job opportunities.
