The different types of recycling

According to Wikipedia, recycling is the process of converting materials of waste into new materials and objects. The recyclability of a material depends on its ability to be able to regain the original chemical state.

A business recycling service can take off the load of mass recycling from large corporations and industries.

There are three main types of recycling: energy, chemical, and mechanical. Every single type of recycling is subdivided into smaller categories, but these give a general term.

Any of the main recycling types require three simple steps. First of all, they are collected and then separated based on the type of waste, for example, based on the material type and cleaning level. The next step is called residue reuse, when the separated material goes through one of the main recycling types and is turned back into raw material. The third step involves waste transformation. This is when the raw material goes back into a finished product again.

Energy recycling occurs when plastic is converted into both thermal and electric energy through incineration. This type of recycling is important due to its ability of adapting to the energetic sources and adjusting to little space available in big cities with little to no space for landfill.

Chemical recycling is the most complicated process of the three main types. Plastic is reprocessed and their chemical structure is changed so they can be used for raw materials or as a basic start for churning out new plastic products.

Mechanical recycling is the most popular form of recycling used to give materials new usages, whatever they may be.
